Sentimental Sundays Challenge!

Good morning! It is time once again for our Sentimental Sundays challenge! This week our challenge to you is to focus on your sentiment!!

Just make a card with sentiment only and really make it stand out!

This week, we are being sponsored by Whimsy Stamps!

I don't have any Whimsy Stamps Smiley from millan.net so I chose to crack open a Papertrey Ink stamp set that I have been longing to use!

This set is called Beautiful Blessings and has a wide range of inspirational sentiments to focus on!

My beautiful designer paper is from My Mind's Eye and is a 6x6 paper pad called Fiddlesticks!

I added some gorgeous sheer white ribbon with a bit of silver twine tied to an Autumn Rose button and done!

Check out this awesome challenge from Sentimental Sundays!!

Birthday Wishes....

Good morning!!

Sorry I haven't been around this week ....I have had MAJOR computer problems so I have been slowly working them out with my provider.

Since we are rural internet, I have to call my provider, then be transferred over the the rural internet provider only to find out it wasn't only the computer, but  my modem wasn't working properly either -Smiley from millan.net of course no one could tell me that without being on the phone for 2 hours - bah!  ....and if you think you don't understand any of that - me neither!!

Anyway, enough whining and let's move onto today's Scrapmaster's Paradise creation! YAY!!

I started by stamping the background with the Little Floral Background Stamp in Kraft ink and adhered to my card base.

I went simple this week, digging out my Stamping UP! Top Note die and cutting two different patterned papers from the Basic Grey Kissing Booth collection.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from Ultimate Sentiments II and has the most beautiful font, onto the "plain" patterned paper and adhered a line of bling underneath to highlight it! (by the way, the Ultimate Sentiments I is back in stock!)

Then I added some gorgeous Prima roses with the fern being punched from Martha Stewart's fern punch.

I love birthdays!! Have a great day!

Make a Wish!

Hi everyone!

This card is for last weeks My Favorite Thing sketch - I love their sketches and I use them on a lot of my creations!

I used the a la modes called Genie and my Basic Grey Little Black Dress papers (6x6 paper pad) to create this card.

The Little Black Dress papers makes me think of the desert and sand and, of course, goes perfect with a little Genie - don't you think??!! (humor me...)Smiley from millan.net

I coloured her with my copics and did some sewing around the edges of the panels.

For her harem pants, I started by colouring her legs with copics. I then covered the pants and legs with my glue pen and then sprinkled an opaque glitter from Glitteritz on to the glue and tamped it down with my finger......perfect!

The sentiment panel was cut with the First Place Award Winning Die-Namics with a gold shimmer cardstock and then the sentiment was stamped on top with Memento Tuxedo Black.

Have a great day!

This card is more of a Congratulations card as you can see! I thought it was perfect for someone who has just received a promotion or is going off to the big city - something like that!

My new stamp this month is the Diamond Backgrounder - I stamped it to be my skyline backdrop again the Echo Park Yours Truly 12 x 12 stickers. Then I embossed the base of the circle with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder - one of my all-time greats!

The designer papers are also from the Echo Park Yours Truly 12 x 12 kit!

The sentiment is from Bold Sentiments I Stamp Set and I stamped it onto one of the SVG cut files that are available in the store!

My next card also uses the Echo Park Yours Truly stickers and paper! When you're on a roll......

I used my new SP & Company's Diamond Backgrounder for just a bit of variation on the image - right under the sticker sentiment - kind of fun!

Memories and Comfort....

Hey there...... We have had a few difficult weeks in our community with one of my golfing girls passing away.

We had Karen's funeral yesterday and even though I have been through a lot of funerals.....my age you know......this one seemed especially difficult....close friend and all.

Anyway, I am hoping this card may comfort the family a bit....

I used MFT's Clearly Sentimental about Sympathy.....a set of wonderfully comforting sentiments.....and I chose this one.....

The sketch isa variation of number 39 from MFT sketches and the patterned papers are from Lilybee Designs "Head Over Heels" 6 x 6 paper pad.....

And don't forget to put a sentiment on your creation!!

This week we are being sponsored by Little Darlings! I don't have any of these images so I decided to put together a love note to my hubby who is one great guy!

This quote is from Edward Cullen - of course from the Twilight Series and it is a part of the Clearly Sentimental series at My Favorite Things. This particular stamp set is called Clearly Sentimental About Romance and was part of January's Triple Scoop promotion but will be available for purchase as of Tuesday night - woohoo!

The typewriter is also from My Favorite Things and the set is called Die-namics Just My Type Die and Stamp Set!

I used MFT Sketch 49 for my card and the beautiful papers are from Basic Grey's Little Black Dress!

So how about you try out our Sentimental Sundays challenge - to use LOVE on your card - easy peasy!

Stitched Together....

Today is Friday and that means another Scrapmaster's Paradise blog post!

I am sticking with a Valentine's Day theme with my card today! and besides Moxie Fab has a new Tuesday Trigger up and I am going to enter it into that fabulous challenge and be on time for this one!

I have some new papers from Basic Grey called Kissing Booth and I cut them into strips and adhered them onto a piece of cardstock.

Then I sewed the edges with zig zags - and my sewing machine began to skip stitches - ugh! But I just went with it and it is pretty darn cute!

I then cut out the heart shape with my Heart Nestabilities - plain and scalloped.

The sentiment is from Sewing Chic - stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa, lots of pearls and a Jenni Bowlin button with twine to finish it off!

Simply Moxie Fab!

I haven't participated in Cath Edvalson's Moxie Fab challenge for far too long, so today this card is for her fab-u-lo-so challenge!!

aaaaaand......I just checked it out and I am toooo late- oh for Pete's Sake.....(and who is Pete anyway?)

Regardless, I will show you because that is what my blog is for.....

I used Basic Grey's Little Black Dress for my patterned paper - it is gorgeous!!

Those fabulous pom pom flowers are made with the My Favorite Things Die-namics Loopy Bloom and felt!

The sentiment is from My Favorite Things Polka Dot Greetings and I stamped it onto the ribbon part of the Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon die!

And I cut the Die-Namics out with my NEW Vagabond!! I love it!! I called Lora over at One Crazy Stamper and asked if she could get one in for me and she did and woohoo! I just love it - it cuts product without lifting a finger - well you have to push a button - but no cranking or turning - just the little hum of the motor and away it goes!

Some strategically placed Zva bling and a bit of white ink brushed around the edges of everything and it was good to go!

Here is the picture of last week's Tuesday Trigger....I am going to hop on over and get at this week's trigger while I am ahead of the game! lol!
